Currently we offer schooling to 60 children in our nursery school 10 sponsorships of orphans in both primary and secondary schools and 15 doing vocational courses. And an our dream is to guarantee our little ones a better education by providing the educational team with more experience. We want our school to be a space for experiential growth and exchange of knowledge and cultures!

The lead cause for school dropouts in Uganda is poverty. Most families survive on less than 1 US-$ per day and parents from such families often cannot afford paying school fees and providing school requirements for their children. Our sponsorship program supports children from poor and vulnerable backgrounds to enrol, keep in school and complete their education. We provide children with school fees and other school needs as well as supporting children and their families to becomes economically self reliant. 

 

We focus on children from pre-school to higher institutions of learning – giving children a life time opportunity to support themselves, their families and the community where they leave. We can only do this with support of people like you if not you,then who – who commit to contribute monthly, termly or yearly to ensure a child(dren) enrol, stay in school and complete their education.

Girl Child in school

The girl child is seen as a commodity through which the family can earn livelihood, especially in vulnerable communities in Uganda. She is traded into marriage as a child and expected to live as an adult. Her dilemma which is rooted in traditional cultural perceptions has been escalated by Very many factors.

Educate Total Orphans Of HIV/Aids Deceased Parents

A total orphan is a child who has lost both parents. Mama Africa child Iniative in Collaboration with  KYABENDA DIVINITY  AND VOCATIONAL COLLEGE To educate young Orphans (Youth) who lost their parents due to HIV/AIDS.

We have about 25 children Benefiting from this programme, where they are equiped with technical and business knowledge in certificate and Diploma Courses such as Plumbing, Catering, electrical engineering, Carpentry, Computer studies, Nursery Teaching, Fashion and design, mechanical engineering! Here a child/Teenagers acquire knowledge that will forever help them earn a living as a self employer and also support their family.

At $220/Year For a CERTIFICATE COURSE (Duration 1 year), you help an Orphan have a lifetime Skill that will help them earn a living and take care of their siblings.

At $250/Year for 2 years (Duration 2 Years), You educate an Orphan for any Diploma Course with KYABENDA DIVINITY AND VOCATIONAL
